Itinerary
Day 1 - October 15
Flight to Serengeti from Arusha
Early in the morning, we’ll depart from the hotel in Arusha to the airport for our flight. A guide will be waiting for us to begin our adventure. Around 1:00 PM, we’ll stop for lunch. We’ll continue our day, and if we’re lucky, we may already have seen lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and plenty of other wildlife. Overnight at Jacaranda Heritage Camp or similar.
Day 2 - October 16
Full Day in the Serengeti
After breakfast, another exciting day begins in Serengeti National Park. We’ll spend the entire day driving around to capture incredible photographs. The Serengeti is one of the best places for a safari, and you’re sure to be amazed. Overnight at Jacaranda Heritage Camp or similar.
Day 3 - October 17
Ngorongoro Crater and Maasai Tribe Visit
After breakfast, we’ll start our journey to Ngorongoro. Ngorongoro is a park estimated to have 30,000 animals, including rhinos. Along the way, we’ll visit a Maasai tribe to learn about their way of life, and we’ll have lunch by the lake. In the late afternoon, we’ll return to Arusha. You can book a nighttime flight to return home this day, or fly the next day (if continuing to the Uganda Gorilla extension, book a flight to Uganda for the following day).

Day 1 - October 19

Full board. Early in the morning, we’ll depart for Bwindi National Park. Along the way, we’ll see typical acacia savannahs and the famous Ankole cattle with long horns. The transfer is long, approximately 8 hours. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Day 2 - October 20
Gorillas in the Tropical Rainforest
After breakfast, we’ll set out to find gorilla families. The activity starts at 8:00 AM, but there’s no fixed schedule since the primates move freely through the forest. This activity requires patience, but when we find them, we’ll spend about an hour with them—an unforgettable experience. After the trek, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 3 - October 21
Bwindi - Entebbe - International Flight (Nighttime)
After breakfast, we’ll head back. The road is long again, so we recommend booking a nighttime flight or one for the following day.
